I’m a big fan of music, and yesterday I was searching for an idea to put some big speakers into walls. This can give dangerous for the building and can take a lot of planning, time, money and work. But today I’ve found a solution, canvas speakers. High-quality speakers are disguised as art work which are perfect to compliment modern or contemporary home theaters. Speaker covers are ink jet...

CMYK Wallet
The Mighty Wallet™ is tear-resistant, water-resistant, expandable and, most importantly, recyclable. Made from Tyvek® (think express mail envelopes), the Mighty Wallet™ resists tearing because of thousands of interlocking plastic fibers spun in random patterns giving the wallet incredible strength. In time, the Mighty Wallet™ will gradually soften and patina but, even after years of wear, it...

Bamboo iPhone 4 Case. Wow!
Grove Made has exceptional taste when it comes to framing the iPhone 4 with a bamboo cover. Although it is not our usual cup of tea here at Freshome, this amazing case got our attention with its natural curves and magnificent colours and designs. The best part is that the guys from Grove Made offer the possibility to customize your own case with a laser etched design. Before you think of any...

It has no grille: a white or black...

Bring a Blue Whale Home
I love finding intriguing whale art and ideas for the home. So often cetacean inspired design feels either overly cute and cartoonish, or oddly unappealing. Here we’ve rounded up some interesting ideas for design inspired by the giant Blue Whale.
The Blue Whale decals (above) have a nice modern graphic feel as they glide elegantly through a room. Created by Sissy Little, these are $64 for...

New Twitter Design is Based on the Golden Ratio
From Pythagoras to Darren Aronofsky, the Golden Ratio—an irrational mathematical constant found in everything from art to architecture—has come pretty far. Lately, it was apparently the basis of the design for the new Twitter.
Check out the above picture from Twitter ()’s Creative Director Doug Bowman, found on Twitter’s Flickr page. According to the caption: “To anyone curious about...

Tumblr Content Attribution
By Tumblr Staff:
Back when we launched two of Tumblr’s most unique features, reblogging and the Tumblr Bookmarklet, we devised automatic “via” links in post captions as a simple solution for attribution. Three years later, this solution has gotten us pretty far. But it’s easy to spot some real shortcomings:
It’s hard. Even with the best intentions, it’s possible to mangle attribution when...

Google vs Facebook: A Battle of Colossal...

Fantastically Detailed Paper Cuttings
Of the 187 billion pounds of paper produced on our planet every year, how many are used this creatively? A distinctly modern variant of classic origami art, these three-dimensional works rise up from the page as if the paper were coming alive—animated shapes, scenes and figures carved crisply from generic white paper stock.
The sheets themselves are technically blank (canvasses, if you...
